Having had both my father and grandfather serve in the armed forces, whenever Memorial Day rolls around I like to reflect on those men and women who gave their time and some their lives protecting this great nation. My thanks to you today. You truly are the heroes of this country.

My dad was in the Army Air Corps in WW2, a sergeant. He was in Europe, never talked about it though, not a word.
