over the past few months i have had a clunk randomly when shifting from park to reverse or drive etc.. it wouldnt happen all the time, sometimes just a lil click, sometimes it would hesitate, then a loud clunk that i could feel. so i took it in for a U joint when it first started and it looked fine, since then it got worse... culprate, the rear diff was going out, and they are replacing it no questions asked.

also, they replaced my fuel level sensor again last month when it was in for oil change "the old one was fine" but the second one they put in acted all weired. so i had them look at that too. they said my gas tank was sinking in on the top, making it inaccurate. i was like WTF? but it also is being replaced free. and they gave me a rental versa for the weekend. i love my service advisor! :ugogirl:

cough cough, the ebrake works very well in the versa haha!!

i've used my extended warranty too many times to be thankful, more worrisome.

I've read a lot about differentials being replaced on the earlier 2nd gen frontiers. Did they ever get them fixed? or do I still have to worry about my m226 taking a crap on me just after my warranty expires?

i dont know if the m226's break as easy, but mine defenately didnt have an easy life lol.

i asked if they would order me an m226, but they said they could only replace it with the original c200 if it was replaced by warranty.
