Hey guys,

Well I got the truck a week ago, and want to get the sound pumping.

I have a Pioneer Premier 9 something, great CD player that I took out of my caprice before I sold it (350 bucks).

Anyway, after some searching I see that the speakers up front are 5 3/4? or 6.5....anyway, I figure I would put in a set of Pioneer Premiers...

The sub is going to be a 10 inch IMAGE DYNAMICS IDQ.v3....I want a sealed box. The problem is, this truck is my work/play vehicle and I need my back cab for storage (tools, etc..). So, I would try to put this on the passanger side of the cab. I have seen a website that has a custom for the back, BUT it takes up the entire cab in the back....I need my space.

Any recommendations...pictures would be great.

I have the same truck as you and have a 10" pioneer sub in a sealed box behind the drivers seat that points directly at my spine. I will get a pic for you tomorrow. I find it easier to put stuff in the back on the passenger side when i'm sitting in the drivers seat.
The bottom plastic piece on the passenger side will make it a little more difficult to put a box on the right. Have you can consider a powered bazooka tube sub if space is really an issue? My truck came with one. The bass wasn't that bad for being a 6 1/2" and I had tons more room.

Like 09SEBeast said, A box takes up a little more room but you can still put stuff on top of it. Maybe in a tray for small stuff so it stays together.

I have this under my passenger side seat. It is a amp and sub combo. I love it, and you can't even tell its there until you turn on the stereo and hear the bass! It produces very tight bass, which is perfect for my type of music.

Hey man can you send me a pic? I just want a 10 inch sub in a sealed box.

How is the rattle...?
I will post up a pic. No rattle at all. Just a tight sealed .85 cuft box with a pioneer 10" sub powered by a dedicated amp. I listen to alot of punk and metal. believe it or not, metal needs good bass. Ever listen to Metallicas one album with a good amount of bass ? Make your hair blow in the breeze:laugh:.
