Well I gutted mu system from my old vehicle I had installed not even 3 months ago and now being installed in my frontier. Componets are as follows..
HU=Kenwood Double Din 9140, door are Boston Acoustic Sl-60 6.5" w/ each having independent crossovers powered by MTX AMP 5104, Subs are 2 10" Boston Acoustic G5's powered by a MTX AMP 81001, O gauge amp wire and Cap. My problem is the Enclosure and amp location. All the enclosures I seem to find are small w/o enough cubic space for the subs and the amps are quit large themselves. Am I gonna have to eliminate a sub or are there other sub enclosures I am not aware of. Thanks you for any help w/ this.

are u a KC or CC?
if CC the ONLY way your geting 2 or even 1 G5 in the truck is if its sitting on the back seat. they only need .5 cu. ft. of air space but i know how big those subs are. the magnets are HUGE.

So what ya think...sell off the 2 G5's , maybe step down to 2 G3's 10". some of those pre fab dual 10"s boxes say they have a combined 1.25 cu ft of space. The only other thing is even dropping down to dual 8 or even a jl 13 1/2 sub that they use in jeep stealth boxes. Either way Ill do what I got to but just use to pounding clear systems. Probably just go to my audio guy and see what he can build. He was able to get 3 G5's in my 370 hatch. just seem to keep running into issues ever corner i turn....:comphead::censor:
you can do something like this with one..doesnt have to be fancy like this one but yea its an idea your way for your audio guy

That looks pretty nice but takes up seat space I would want. Still cool none the less!
Think that just might be it

Thanks again that might be my perfect solution. I can at leats push one G5 maybe 2 if i keep that design and run another to the ground. Ill have proper cu air space and can actually mount my ridiculous amps under the seat. If you can send or post any additional pics it would be much appreciated.:fantastic:
Well Changed up the sub set up that was giving me the biggest problem of my installation. I was unable to fins away to get my G5's in w/0 giving up my rear seats. So I have switched over to the JL AUDIO 13" TW5 shallow mount sub. This way I can have a enclosure built that complete fills the underneath of the rear seats once the storage bin and stock RF sub. The sub is able to create clean, hard hitting, bass on only.8 cu inches of air space. Gonna look something to this effect however on the non sub side my amps and capacitor will be mounted within them. Again this is just a similar design, not mine, just what Iam basing mine off of. Now just still need the suspension delima figured out.

Damn that will look pretty nice too! Good luck you building the box yourself?
JL makes a stealth box with a 10in sub that fits perfectly under the single back seat behind the drivers seat. Thats what i have and have been happy with it for the past year. I put the amp under the drivers seat.
