my sway bar is sitting lower at the endlinks than it is towards the front of the vehicle. The endlinks look like they're at a weird angle also. Should the sway bar be more parellel to the ground? Do they make longer endlinks to compinsate for the lift on the truck? I want to keep my sway bar on so taking it off isn't an option

well I just removed the sway bar to replace the bushings and couldn't get it back on. After I lowered the truck down from the jack I noticed the front end was sitting a bit higher. Turns out that the sway bar was holding the suspension down. has anyone had this happen to them? It was 1" higher than it was before(i know because i measured before for a different reason) Now it sitting just barely above the bump stop(can't even get a pinkie in there) I just couldn't get the bar down enough to get the screws back on so I think the weight of the suspension was holding it down

if your swaybar was holding the suspension down, it was probably bent.

i can't think of a reason either other then you hit something huge like a curb on one side and tweaked the bar before you cranked the bars.

well the truck went in to the shop today. Mechanic drove it and said it handled pretty well. He said there were no signs the bar was even off. He did say that the sway bar was holding the arms up so when i would hit a bump and the cab would go up the suspension wasn't letting itself all the way down(droop) That's why when I released the bar the truck had a taller stance by 1". I thought the bar looked weired leanin back so far. He said i needed longer endlinks but thought I should just leave it off. Also Idler Arm is shot so looks like I will be getting something beefier.....hehe I said beefier
