Nephew got my 2010 Frontier (reason for the UncleG userid) and I am looking at a 2017 Frontier SV King Cab vs a new leftover 2016 Frontier PRO 4X. I see the SV has a 3.133 Axle Ratio and the PRO 4X has a 3.357 Axle Ratio but both are rated 15 city, 21 highway. How can that be?!

As this will be my daily not sure I want the PRO 4X.

Anyone have any opinions? Any other info, suggestions would be appreciated. I am going to dealership tommorrow and already got a price on the PRO 4x.

MSRP is $33,605.00, sell price $28,876.00

Don't have a price on the 2017 SV.

Thanks, UncleG

I have a loaded 2016 Pro-4X CC. I average 17 mpg daily driving around town. On road trips I have gotten as high as 22.3. This figure actually calculated out, not by the onboard "computer".

I would buy whatever you can get the best deal on. I bought mine in March as left over inventory, and got it for $29,5k OTD with taxes, etc.

Hey guys, what is suppose to be in the cardboard box that should come with the pro 4x? I know it for the utiltrack system, but can you tell me in detail whats in it?

Reason is the 2016 leftover is missing it, also missing the floor mats, also looks like its suppose to have bed rail covers for the 2 rails at the bottom of the bed.

What else is suppose to be there? Looks like this leftover got raided. It only has 70 miles on it but I'm not getting that warm fuzzy feeling.

Will also check for the jack and spare tire. What else should I look for?

answered in your other thread

Doing this from memory
Cardboard box:
4 cleats for the track system
2 end caps for track system
1 wrench for the end cap bolts

Looks like a pretty good deal for a P4X IMO. Any missing items will likely show up on the parts board or just tell them no deal unless all accessories are included. They will just rob another truck to make the sale. I just got 17.5MPG mixed avg out of my SV w/a 2" lift, 32" tires, front air dam removed and the Yakima bars on the canopy. I was really pleased with that. Both trucks will serve you well, I love my SV Sport Pkg, but I wish I could tell my friends I have a locker!!

Stock tire size difference:
SV 265/70-16 = hwy AS truck tread
P4X 265/75-16 = slightly taller tire and more AT oriented tread

Honestly, I comes down to as to what you plan on doing with your truck. If you are going to go offroad more than onroad, then get the pro 4x without a dobut. If you are somebody who likes loaded trucks, then gets the pro 4x. Always having a 4x4 there 4 you is good because it is better to have it when you need it rather than not have it when you need it. If you are going to be onroad more than off, then the Sv is a potential truck for you and is usually cheaper than a pro 4x. Just my 2 cents worth

Good luck and may the force of nissan be with you:nerd:::grin::>:D::laugh::
