SV CC Side Stripe?

If you follow the New Members forum you have seen my all white 2017 SV CC. I have been trying to come up with something to break up the ALL WHITE profile and think I have an idea. About two-thirds the way down the doors is an accent “crease” (I don’t know what else to call it and google came up empty). I am considering adding some color to the “crease” by either a sticker (we have a local shop that is pretty reasonable) or having the local body shop paint it. In either case I was going to use a bright red. Below is my rendition of the stripe. Tell me what you think.

Installing Nissan side moldings in another Frontier color would break up the 'white monotony' while also being functional against (some/most) door dings.

Thanks - I didn't realize that item was available. I checked and Nissan has a Lava Red that would be perfect. I will check with my dealer and my local body shop to see which one is less expensive. They appear to be about $100 for the set for the material and I'll see who is better on the labor. I could maybe do it myself, but it looks like if I screw it up it can't be re-done.
Tell me what you think.
You asked. If it was my white truck, I could see going w/ black, or gray, or silver or night armor/gun metallic...maybe even blue.
Now, if you were to do other red accents (IE brake calipers/tow hooks/etc), then maybe it might work. Again, JMO. Above all else, do what you want to your truck. It is yours to personalize! Opinions are like exhaust pipes...........
I think that would look beyond stupid. But that's just my .02

I prefer Red. If there had been a Red Frontier with the right equipment on the lot I would have bought it rather than the white one.

I guess I should have asked for recommendations rather than opinions. At least shift_Rush took my request in the way I meant it.
Everyone knows... I love decals. They look good on white also, with the right ones. Decals are easy to do yourself and if you wanna change it up, you can.

In the end, you're the one making the payments on the truck. If thats the look you want, don't let others tell you otherwise. Red on white is a pretty nice combination I think. The brake caliper idea isn't bad either, and you could plasti-dip the emblems to match too. But thats just my imagination running loose.

And for those who don't know me that well, here's a dramatization of my imagination on a slow day:

Nice thing about nissans side guards are they come painted if you decide to do it yourself you take a picture and measure how far from an edge it sits. If rear guard is too far forward it will not clear the front door correctly.
They do break up the long look of our door regardless of color.
Post pictures when it's done and welcome to the forum.

I have a new 16 White SV Crew Cab. Been considering the mouldings also. Seeing there is some black trim on the truck, I'm thinking black. Are they available unpainted, in black? That way, if you do get door dings, no need to touch up and won't show nearly as bad....

The moldings are available in any color the truck is offered. They will not get door dings as they are rubber.

My 2013 SV 2 wheel drive had a pin stripe down each side of the truck that my 4X4 2014 SV does not have. It was two thin stripes. I have no idea why my 14 doesn't have it. Maybe it's a 2 wheel drive thing? Or something the delear added
On these mouldings, would they take treatment like spray-on bedliner?
