Hi guys,

I am planning to change my suspension system. I don't want a big lift to go rockcrawling, just better performance, and a little lift might be welcome. I had Radflo in mind, but than I saw the Blistein B6 shocks, after that some guys recommended Old Man Emu, and finally a guy suggested Rancho. Can you give me your opinion about these, if you have experience with them?

DONT GO RANCHO. LOL, i have them on my truck and they ride really soft, even on the stiffest setting. Even before the bumper I was running them at 9 so the front end wouldnt bounce around. The Bils are really nice, and weve installed a few of them at the shop and the people all say they are great. Never heard to much about old man emu but there are a few guys on here running them, so maybe they will chime in. A lot of the guys running radflows say its a night an day difference as far as ride.

The real thing to consider is that the Navara's are built a little different so I am not sure if the Rads or Saws or etc... are a direct bolt in thing. Also, do you have the ability to add cam bolts for the LCAs? I know a few AUS guys have noticed their D40 is un-equiped and do not have the ability to add them without having "side" washers welded to the frame.

Also, a few members have had some issues with getting their coilovers serviced so it may be wise to find a local shop and find out what they work on and how much it costs. If it is not possible to find a shop or they want an outragious price for service, it may be worth just stickin with the bills and just replace them when they wear out.

Given your location I would vote for the Bilstiens. The reason is if you have one that is leaking you can order another one or another set and install them when they arrive. With the Radiflo's it would be a long turn around time to send them out for a rebuild and wait for them to come back. You could however go for the Radiflos and also buy a spacer lift to install in your stock coil assy that way if you have to send them out at least you will be able to keep your ride height the same.

my vote is for radflo's. yes it would be a long turn around time but they are pretty rugged. most ATV/off roading shops in your area will be able to help you rebuild them if the time ever comes. also most will be able to recharge them for you if that is ever needed. i recommend the 600 lb springs from my experience. don't forget to take off your sway bar if you get them. the truck will lean a little bit more in the turns but it's not too bad once you get used to it and you will get a lot more flex out of it once you do, plus it'll ride smooth as butter:thumbsup:

UNLESS you have someone that can rebuild Radflos locally, I would stay away. Go with the Bills. Not sure if removing the sway bar is for everyone - I haven't removed mine and the articulation is fine for what I do
