i really want the roof rack bars and the power sunroof, but they didnt come with my 05' NISMO Crew Cab .... does anyone know how much this package would go for? id go thru the dealership for the install and parts and whatnot, im just curious if anyone has done something like this and how much money im looking at here

I bet the dealership would not put a sunroof in your truck.
I have not seen the roofrack in any catalogs, so I wonder if this is something that has to be installed at the factory as well.

I have seen several posts concerning the adding of the factory roof rack, and most have been told Nissan won't do it because it requires some reinforcements be added to the roof that aren't there from the factory. But, I do recall one person who had it added to his truck without the additional reinforcements, but I'm not sure where he got the rack.

Well I was just the opposite. My dealer had to look for 2 weeks for a Nismo CC that DIDN'T have the roof rack. 8O

well if you goto www.nissanusa.com and do one of those "build your truck" things under frontier, you can add in the "sunroof package" which is the rails and the power sunroof .. which is why i was curious because if you can order a truck with that option then couldnt you just put it in anyways ... ill have to call tomarro and see what the deal is.

I am pretty sure you will strike out on this. There are liability issue with the roof rack.
From the factory there is built in bracing for the rack. It is not on the trucks that do not
come with the roof racks.

It is strange what trips our triggers. I refused to buy the LE CC because I did not want
a sunroof nor a roof rack. There are many of us who can't stand the looks of the roof racks and yet there are many others that love that look.

There used to be several local shops that would install sun roofs here in the OKC area.
Not sure if they still do that or not since it has become so common on todays cars/trucks.

I'd love to have the sunroof, but I'm not a big fan of the roof rack! I guess I could get one installed, but can't stand the thought of some kid taking a giant can opener to the roof of my truck! 8O
