I'm kickin' tires in regards to a car trailer. I don't need one just yet, but am anticipating (saving) for one for next racing season. I need to be able to haul it w/an 06 KC Nismo auto.

Towed vehicle curb weight is ~2700lb (to be safe), wheelbase of 98", width of 67", length is 178"".

I really know nothing about towing or trailers in general, other that there are some distinct calculations involved. Can anyone get me started - maybe what size trailer I should be looking at?

I figure I'll have one pass., two spare tires, jack, maybe a chest-top worth of tools as well. How close am I to pushing it with all this?

Cheers,
James

'was considering something along these lines:
Bri-Mar Dump Trailers

How to calculate tongue weight, etc? I imagine there's very little weight on the trailer axles with the picture shown.

I have a single car-hauler from Az-Tex Trailers. They even shortened it according to my specs so it fits in my garage (18 ft long) I paid $1800 brand new. With my race car on it and all my gear...estimating about 4500lbs total.
