yeah i was wondering if anyone had any experience or idea for putting subs into a 03 crew cab. i have the stereo and stuff and the subs out of my old car but i think they are to big for the truck. i attached a pic (old car with subs) and would like to fit something behind the back seat i just dont know what will work.

i have 2 10" critical mass subs behind the back seat in my 02" cc, with a 800watt amp underneath my driver seat. it cost $1100 installed w/ the new head unit.

i did 2 10" rockford fosgate P3 subs, mounted them in a box on the right side, and the amp and everything else on teh left side. they pound like hell. ran m about 300 bucks for the box and 2 subs. amp was around 300 and i already had a nice deck, but i payed 400 bucks for it when i bought it. and i installed my self so that saved 200$ in instal work.

but as of right now, im going custom, im building a fiberglass sub enclosure/center concle

its got a lot of work to do, i just dont have the time to do it. so bare with the uglyness lol

Hey thanks for the idea at least i know i can fit some tens back there so i can re use my old subs and amp i found some others i like and my only other question is did you keep the jack and stuff in the truck (like under the passanger seat or something) or did you do away with it completely.

ANd installing it is not a problem just have never built a box before and have no idea how to do it

i found agreat place for the jack!! go in your bed, set it ontop of the wheel well under the bed railing, and start cranking it up. it will go up under the bed and get tight and it just sits there, you hardley know its there. but i have a tonneau cover so i dont have to worry about rain, i dont know if it got wet a lot what would happen to it, but its a good place for it.

Man reading all these posts made me glad I have a King Cab. I just threw my 10's in the back and that was it. Thank god for the folding side seats! Sorry guys, no room in the back, gotta find a ride with someone else!

What are the dimensions of the dual 10" box? I can't find the specs anywhere at all. It would be appreciated!
