well i got my spacers from idleone today and thought i'd put them on and everything was going smoothly enough on the first side once i got a ball joint separator until i got to removing the shock. i broke 2 different 3/8 drive extensions and one ratchet and couldnt' get it to budge with a 1/2 in breaker bar. the bolt and nut is soaked in penetrating oil and not going anywhere. i want to try and get it done this weekend and wont have access to air tools till next week and i was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem and what they did. thanks in advance

yeah i dont have air at home i'm thinking i'll just get it all back together and head to a buddy's that has air. the mallet didn't do it on the ball joint but the good ol autozone rental special ball joint pickle fork did the trick, too bad i couldn't get any farther with it. i've done alot of suspension work on alot of cars but i've never had this much trouble before but i also didn't know the factory tq spec was so high, add 3 years and some corrosion on to that and it makes sense now. thanks i made the mistake of assuming that it was so easy i would have it done before my birthday party at the clubs but my girlfriend drove me to and from the club, got to drink more and not worry about driving that way. i was hoping to have this done as my bday present to myself but oh well
