Stripped Torsion Bar Anchor Bolt - Now What?

So the head on one of my torsion bar anchor bolts is pretty stripped. I installed some new AC UCA's, so I need to lift the front up a couple of inches. I have new anchor bolts, but I'm stumped for how to get the bolt out. Any suggestions or tools that could help me out on this?

You can try it. The thing is with these trucks that the anchor arms are a lot shorter than say a GM or Dodge so the leverage on the arm and the stress on the bolt is a lot higher.

You will have to jack up the front of the truck to get the wheels of the ground, try to get a clamp in there, and use a vice-grip or something to get a hold of the bolt. Whatever you do, don't try to cut the bolt or you will risk serious injury.

This is why the anchors should not be adjusted from the bolt heads. Always "crank" them using a wrench on the top nuts. A box-end rachet wrench works great for this. When you install the new bolt make sure you grease the threads well and make sure you get new nuts to go with it.
