Has anyone thought of or have done this???? How did it sound (links are nice ) or what do you guys think it would sound like (tone, loudness, etc) My inspection sticker isnt till 2012 so Ill try it if it be worth the hassle. Im not rele looking for anymore power just a little deeper tone w/o spending a ton of $$$$$

Forget It, I Used A Large Dual In Single 3" Out With 2 1/2" In. 2 Hiflo Cats And It Was Way To Damn Loud. Alittle Gas Sounded Like You We Getting On It. So Straight Pipes Would Be Stupid Loud, And You Couldnt Sneek Home After A Late Night

What about OEM cats instead of hi-flow and straight after that? Would they muffle the sound a little???? And did it sound somewhat decent? Also what about cut-outs.....???

Would another concern be backflow? I am by no means knowledgeable on this topic; but have read that our motors really like a decent amount of backflow...would this not be an issue?

with out proper tuning and sizing of the system you will make alot of obnoxious nasty noise and lose lots of power and fuel economy. i wouldn't suggest it. you'd be much better off getting in on that early buy of the long tube headers which delete your primary cats, you'll gain good performance and with the deletion of the cats and tuning of the headers you should get a nice tone from them aswell

You're going to have so much rasp+fart it wouldn't be worth it.

I feel as if you would be better off not using any catalyst systems with a dual in single out large muffler.

I ran straights for about a day. I wouldn't recommend it on anything but a race vehicle. You cannot even take off from a stop light without turning everyone's head including people inside buildings. IMO, its not worth it!

Well I heard fart sound so Thanks everyone for your input, Ill just stick with it the way it is....... In a few weeks ill go to the track with my buddy and his brother theyre both getting re-tuned so well have a track day. Thanks again
