Anyone knows if i can use the stock wheels if I have the CST spindles installed. Had a buddy that told me I have to get new wheels otherwise get wheels spacer so the wheel wouldn't make contact with the spindles??? It seems strange to me....and to those who's gonna beat me down with "go upgrade to better wheels n tires anyway" please don't, lol. I already know I will, just slowly getting everything piece by piece. I don't have money to throw away like that you know.

They dont hit the spindle, but they will hit the outer tie rods. I have an 08 and have put a few thousand miles on mine with stock se wheels. My advice would be to swap the outer tie rods from right to left, left to right, then get an alignment and call it a day. Been running my truck like this for a while with no issues what so ever.

Isn't the tie rod switch is in the CST install sheet?

The spindles will push the front out around an inch; maybe some 1.25/1.75 spacers would give it a meaty "stock" stance.

The tie-rod swap is required, its in the instructions.

The one thing is that your are limited on tire size (width). Almost anything past stock has a chance of rubbing especially if you air down. The guys to run the 285s but a very meaty 285 like the Pit Bulls will probably rub due to the large knuckles they have on the sides.

So you guys are saying that for as long as I have the spindles installed I have to have the outer tie-rod swap. Even when I get new wheels? Which won't be anytime soon. Anyone having trouble getting the wheels alignment to factory specs? Of course this saying I'm getting the camber/ caster bolt too.

You have to flip them any way you put it unless you get a set of huge rims. Just do yourself a favor and swap them. This way if you go and sell the huge rims down the line, you can always throw a stock set on and drive.

I like the way your truck looks wolfman, what size tires are those and how many inch of lifts do you have? I'm slowly working my way to 5 in front and 4 in the back. I have 2 inch front n back right now with spacers (soon to be replaced) and shackles.

The one tha connects the LCA (if i'm not mistaken) to the sway bar...
^I broke a stock one.. Even PRG/Greg liked my work... lol

Some guys have to cut 3/8" off the pass. side rod for a perfect alignment.

Dunnow when I tweaked it but, knew something was wrong when the I whooped into some turns..

Drove with one side disconnected for a couple days(PRG is semi-local), most guys ditch the bar when they upgrade C/Os.

I hear all kinds of good things about Greg. I've called twice before but didn't get a hold of him. Then I read somewhere on one of the thread that he's a busy man. I called because the shackles I ordered went all the way to eastcoast from Sac, CA. I took it was the USPS mistake and waited for it, and it finally made it here to Hawaii anyway. I kinda wish I'm still living in Vegas so I could get anything faster.
