So my truck has the Technology package with the factory bluetooth phone control on the steering wheel. If I upgrade my stereo will I lose this function? I have seen decks with bluetooth built in but I'm not sure they would work with the factory controls. What would I need to do?

you will lose everything... PAC makes an adapter so you can use your steering wheel controls with an aftermarket HU but its not the same... i have a MTX re-Q an i love it!!!! i keep my factory radio, and all it's functions and have a nice clean signal to send to my amps.... unless you are a music producer you will not be able to tell the difference in sound vs. an aftermarket HU, personally its not worth buying a $300+ HU when you can just take this road :fantastic:

Thanks I had a feeling that was the case. Can you send me a link to that PAC adapater you have? Is the factory headunit good enough to use with better speakers/amps etc? I don't really want a full "system" in my truck but the stock radio is pretty pathetic, considering it is the top of the line stereo offered for this truck.
