I have had my truck for a week now, I am posting my exterior add-ons. I just purchased a 2016 Frontier Pro 4x4 and added Nissan Step Rails last Thursday, they are aluminum-alloy, powder-coated OEM.
Thanks to prior posts I was able to download a coupon from the local dealer service center and picked them up OTD for $207. Also great tips from this forum letting me know that the studs...presumably for running board installation are already in the frame of the frontier. Installation was very simple, only tool needed was a socket wrench with a 12 mm and an 8 mm. the whole install took about 1 hour. I'm 6'4" and did not need it however my wife 5'4" loves it. You know what they say happy wife happy life. It does extend out enough to help prevent some door dings from other cars.
