I purchased a set of Radflo coilovers for my 2014 P4X a few months ago but haven't installed them yet. At the time I wasn't planning on getting an aftermarket bumper so I went with the 600lb springs. Now I want to get a steel front bumper and most likely a winch down the road. The Shrock bumper and radiator skid plate weighs around 155lbs. Greg at PRG said he would swap out the springs on them for me for no charge. Which ones should I go with? 650? 700? I'm also running P&P sliders.

You want the lightest springs that will maintain ride height.
Very little difference in 650lb versus 700lb. springs when you can adjust the tension.
If your corner weight is 1400lbs., a 700lb spring needs to be compressed 1".
A 650lb spring needs to be
compressed1.150".

I would go 700, especially if you have steel winch cable, and double especially if you remove the sway bar

On the Xterra with a Shrock, winch with synthetic line and the sway bar off the 600 was rather bouncy, but I got a good deal on 650lb springs and with them on the front is tighter than it was with the 600 and sway bar. I think the 700 would have been overkill for my setup and I do have the steel rear tire carrier and full skids and sliders, so it is about as heavy as I can get it.

Do you have any sag or lose any height?

I had the 600 lb springs before I got the bumper and don't remember if it sagged much when the bumper went on and I had spacers put in when I changed to the 650s and had them match the height of the new Alcans they put on the back at the same time so it went up after the change so I can't really say, but I think with any springs you will see some sag when you change the front bumper.

If it's "bouncy", your shock valving is off.

bouncy was the wrong word. The front would dive under breaking and there was much more body roll. I need to learn how to get what is in my head onto the screen properly. :)
