stealthed my wheels!

like the title says i finally bit the bullet and did it. man it was a pain. took about 1hr 30min per wheel but since it was new i wanted to do it right so i wouldn't have to jack with them all the time. heres a few pics

and if anyone wants i took pics throughout the whole process so i can do a pretty detailed d.i.y. write up.

with them being stealthed, they look more like the 2005-2007 pathfinder se wheels. i like it. :thumbup:

^^^ thats what i was thinking. i used a little different procedure and used a duplicolor bedliner. wasn't sure if anyone wanted a detailed process with that but i guess we'll leave that one alone . saves me time i guess

i was under the impression that the term "stealth" was in reference to not using black paint but bedliner instead

i would have said "blacked out my wheels" also i just heard the term being used several times and figured i'd be trendy and go with it

does using bedliner instead of paint throw the balance off any?

i have the same wheels on my 2010. thought about having them painted a dark charcoal gray. they look good black. i dont know about bedliner though.

no balance issues and ill have to throw up some better pics. i prefer the bedliner over paint now that its on there. it really catches your eye. i was up at the dealer and some of the techs were standing there and commented how they liked it. seems to be pretty durable too. but i really put in the prep work so that could be part of it.
