Hi all. Ive had my truck for about 3 months, bought it used, its a '05 nismo w\90,000 miles on it. just got my timing chain, guides and tensioners replaced a little over a week ago and everything had been running fine until the other day. truck had been sittin overnight and the next morning when i went to start it up i turned it to on, all the lights on the dash came on like usual but when i went to start it there was nothing. everything was dead, no power at all. I opened the hood checked the battery connections and everything looked fine, played with the wires for a bit and heard a noise. truck had power again and started right up. everything was reset though. went to the store and it happened again. played with the wire bundle on positve terminal(all connections seem fine) and then it works fine agian. its been about a week and it hasnt happened again but woried it will at any time and that could be trouble! battery is a duralast gold and only a year old seems like little corrosion. Any input would be appreciated. thanks

I had the same thing happen to me just recently and it wound up ebeing a bad connection from the positive battery clamp to where the wire attaches under the screw. The factory clamps are cheesy, thin metal, I purchased a marine grade clamp and it is much more heavy duty and works well. I do have to go to the hardware store today and get a nut to replace the wingnut it came with because it is not tight enough. It is real important I found to make sure the wires are screwed down snug. Anyway, the factory clamps are thin wire and maybe that is where you problem is. Also, corrosion can get under the screwed down wires, I took a terminal brush and cleaned everything off real well.

I have no idea what transmission you have, but the clutch interlock switch on my 6-Speed stick recently went bad. It was a really irritaing problem because it failed only intermittently. There's much here:

Enter " ok-now-my-truck-wont-start " in the Google search box in the forum Search function. A lot of guys have traded ideas there.
