Hi there, so i took my throttle body off, so that i can install a throttle body spacer(3.3L V6). Installed it, and place the the throttle cables back to there place as they were before. I went out for a drive, and it took for ever to change from 2nd to 3rd gear and when it did change.. the rpm's increased high.
I got on the freeway for a bit and it took a long time to change into all gears and it seemed to top of at 40 mph.
The truck is strong and the idle is good though, turns on fine!

So i believe is something to do with my throttle cables, maybe the adjustment on them is off? The adjustment on the throttle body sensor position?
I have no clue!

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Yeah dude, there should be a gasket between the TB and intake manifold. Did your spacer some with a gasket, or instructions that say anything about it?

Oh okay, yes it did come with a gasket.
I actually just fixed the problem. I decided to not even mess with the spacer, so i left it on and just focused on the throttle body speed sensor. I was playing with it for a bit and tryed other adjustments and i seemed to fix it. I went out for a drive, got on the freeway and it ran flawless!

So after all i believe i positioned the sensor a little bit off.

Yes on the freeway.
We actually decided to wait, we had a lot of races coming along and other side work on customer trucks. We are just going to back half the truck and go off from there. We should start soon, very soon like by the end of this month!

Yes i still have the leafs. I would much rather run links in the first place, but the truck still being my daily driver.. its risky!
Yes, i want to back half the rear end.
I am actually going to start stripping the cab this week, so if you know of anyone that needs seats, interior parts and stuff like that.. let me know.
