You have to remove the throttle body/air inlet assembly, but you don't have to remove the valve cover. I thought when I got my 2003 SVE that it would be a lot easier job to replace the plugs on the VG33ER compared to the VG33E, but I was sadly mistaken! I ended up have a bad fuel injector when I got mine, so I had to pull the supercharger, anyway, when I did my plugs. I figured with almost 200k on it, I replaced all of the injectors with reman injectors, the fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor while I was in there and not have to deal with it, again! I paired my NGK plugs with NGK wires and a genuine Nissan cap and rotor.
