On the left side of the steering wheel next to the cargo light switch is a spare slot for another switch. I cant figure out how to get it out. My hand are too big to really get a feel of the back side. I will be adding some lights and think I found an aftermarket swith that will fit in that hole. How does it release?

i have an appointment on Wednesday to get a set of KC 121's installed and tried getting it out myself and couldnt

what switch did you get? i am going with this one i saw on Amazon

Its easier to loosen the panel. Remove the kick plate next to the dead pedal and the small cover in the door jam. Two phillips screws and a light tug and the panel comes off. You'll have a ton of room. The covers go in from the back side

i just used a long and narrow screwdriver to slide along the back of the cover - there are tabs top and bottom. i've had mine out several times - once you get it, you will see its quite easy
