Some jerk put a good size ding in my rear chrome bumper at Costco and left no note... How hard is it to remove? Can I hammer the dent out with a block of wood? Or would you suggest replacing the bumper?

Three bolts on each side of the frame rails, disconnect all electrical wiring and it slides out. Easy peasy.

The bus.per is actually pretty soft metal. If it's a small dent you could possibly hammer it out with something.

I got the bumper off and here is a pic of the damage. Let me know if you think it can be worked and how I should approach it.

Looks like from a hitch. You could probably pound it out, but you'll never get perfect or even great looking. I'd probably replace with an after market one.
