some days I wanna cry

The truck is only 10 years and 10 months old (4/99 birthdate). Last week my carrier bearing decided to puke on me after 156000 miles.
first my headliner starts coming loose, next I have a coolant leak and a power steering fluid leak, and who knows what else is leaking on that side of the motor, then I loose a rear sway control bar bushing (ok, thats my fault), now the carrier bearing is out on me.
OH, and my front marker bulbs had to be replaced...

Some days I just wanna cry...

:(:(

Thanks for your time to listen to me whine.

All pretty minor issues... Sounds like it's time to do a full rehab and enjoy her for another 10 years and 150K!

as for the headliner, i got some stuff at wal mart that you just spray on it and it becomes mega sticky and it holds it on there. in the auto accessory department.
ahh thats just wear and tear over the years, as for the headliner how does it fall? my headliner seems like the material not to even fall. just fix it up man and enjoy your truck for years to come.
i just have a bare metal roof, headliners are for n00bs
The headliner on my '97 Hardbody had started to separate. Everything I have seen is that the foam backing on the headliner fabric breaks down causing the fabric to fall off of the cardboard backing. The best fix is to pull all of the fabric off, sand the remaining foam off, and attach new headliner fabric - available at most fabric shops. My '04 has a different style of fabric, so maybe they fixed this at some point.

i have replaced my headliner. i went to an fabric shop and showed them my sample and i baught enough to do it all. i just removed the old fabric. sanded it down and sparyed 3m apholstery spary (pricy but works REALLY good) on the fabric and the cardboard. started at the back and got all the creases out and cut about an 1/2 inch around the cardboard headliner and folded it over and cut out the holes for the light and the pop up glass thingy. worked out good and had one crease. and let dry over night. not to bad for my first time. shoulda did a rite up. but didnt. questions PM me.
Don't feel too bad, I've already had and fixed those issues (except for the headliner) and I'm only at 118,000 and mines a 2002...never bothered me though, easy fixes (especially with all the help available here!)
speaking of headliners.. how do you take it out of a kc?
^ Its a PITA but if you pull your seats out it will really cut down on how much you have to tweak it and bend it to get is out. Pull your seats first and then loosen the headliner and remove your dome light.

Hang in there, I think the truck will go as far as you are willing to continue mending small issues like this.

the back corners are a bit loose. not flopping loose on the edges, just loose in the corner.
