Did you ever try adjusting the hood stops too? That seems to be a common source of squeaks.
Look at that, they actually didn't say "couldn't reproduce issue" and send you home! Glad it's quiet once again.Brought the truck to the stealership this morning to have the front suspension looked at; it had been squeeking and creaking to kingdom come. They said they retourqued the control arm bolts and now all the noise is gone. I hear a lot of people complaining about the squeeking in our trucks so if your front end is part of the problem check out those control arm bolts.
Yeah there was no way they could pull that off even if they wanted too. You could hear the truck squeek as they pulled it into the shop lolLook at that, they actually didn't say "couldn't reproduce issue" and send you home! Glad it's quiet once again.

Those pads are a great idea. The ones for under chair legs are self adhesive.YES believe it or not, the hoodstops make a TREMENDOUS amount of noise when they have play. I thought something was majorly loose in my suspension, started tightening things, greasing things, etc... STILL noisy! Squeaky and clanky on the smallest of vibrations...
I put some grease on the front hoodstops, SILENCE.
I was just amazed. Grease on the hoodstops lasts about a thousand miles, I put some real heavyduty furniture slider pads on the steel where the hoodstops meet, it's been silent so far.
