Did those who added a tonneau (guess it could be hard or soft) notice any improvement in gas mileage?

I need to get one anyway, but am also wondering if it'll help with fuel.

I plan to put one on just to keep rain off of gear when I have stuff in the back, like on trips.

no mpg increase - and they definately (the right one) look good. also serve a very good purpose

I didn't see any mpg improvement with mine either, maybe even a slight drop (no more than a couple tenths if any). But, I didn't buy it for mileage, I needed to keep the crap in the bed dry.

No increase that I noticed, put mine on to keep cargo out of the elements.
Plus I think they look better than a wide open bed.
