OK this might sound like an odd question, I went to do my first tire rotation this weekend and found my standard impact sockets would not fit in the wheel.

Will a set of deep well impact sockets fit or will I have to go with non impact deep wells?

I did not want to buy a set and they wont fit.

I had the same issue 7 years ago when we bought the 2005 Yukon for Mrs. Cusser, the aftermarket wheels on it would not accept a typical impact socket because it was too wide. Solution: I bought a thin-wall impact socket for it from Napa, napaonline.com Or just use a standard deep socket and a breaker bar.

I'm sure other retailers could order this. Check Google.

This is all I've used since 1981, many times on an impact gun too... Never had one single issue...

Don't use a standard socket on an impact gun. I once saw a guy get hurt doing that. Lots of blood.

Got a set of these a few months ago: Husky 1/2 in. Drive Wheel Protector Impact Socket Set (3-Piece)-H2DIWPSS - The Home Depot

Fit just fine and the plastic sleeve helps prevent scratches
