So, I use the bed of my truck a lot. A shocker, right?? I have bunker gear that SMELLS my cab up badly so I love to just throw it in my bed, then lower the tail gate and pull it out. Today, while taking my dog for a trip, I might have pulled the lever a little too hard and the right side of it broke. So... How do I order another of these??

OMG, it broke with the tailgate up. I can't get it down. And I do have a bedliner. What am I supposed to do now??


And it is first gen (because this is the 1st gen board and all)

Well it's been shipped and whatnot. I had my friend look at the tail gate and he doesn't seem to think it's a big deal that the tail gate is stuck in the "up" position. The little bed liner piece is still fairly easily removable. We shall see.

Well my friend and I screwed around with it last night. I'll admit, it could have been better lighting conditions. And it actually took a decent amount of time. I have pictures. He got it to where it looks as if it is working right, I can pull the tailgate down, and then back up. The only problem is, there is this "extra" piece now lol. Not only that, if I try and lock the tailgate, then it won't come back down because the lever will not work or catch anything. I don't know if anyone can help with this, but I would like it locking for various purposes lol... I tried to take some good pics of this to give you guys an idea; I'll upload later today.

It's going to be too much work, to be honest with you. My friend will look at it again within the next couple weeks. I don't need it locking anytime SOON, but I would like to get it locking again.

My little truck is having problems starting now too but I will make another post about that I guess.

I am on shift today, but possibly within the next week or so I'll have my "mechanical" friend actually do the job RIGHT
