Hey guys,
New to frontiers. Always had Jeeps so Iam a rookie here. Just got an 08 Nismo 4DR and will not be wheeling with this vehicle. However I want to lift it for the look and want a nice ride. So I think after reading your thoughts and feelings on companies and products I will be going w/ the PRG PRODUCTS 4WD ADVANCE KIT. Seems to give a 3" lift w/ coilovers, UCA, reasr Bilsteinn shocks, and A Deaver shackle pack. Then to be safe throw in a 2" BL. Main goal is to run a 315/70/17 Tire. My question is Do I need the BL to fit theses tires in and is this a quality product. Was going to run with the calmini but everyone says dont. I just dnt know if running the PRG 3" kit is enough or do i need a body lift or leveling kit. Any suggestions, experiences, opinions are gladly appreciated. Thanks everyone one for helping this rookie do it right the 1st time around. Even considering running 305/70/17 if it eliminates the need for the BL. Just want the truck stance to be nice and will even probably throw some 1.5" spacers thrown on to widen the stance.
Thank You for all the help guys for helping this rookie:crib:. Ill throw the performance route in the appropriate section

to widen the stance do a titan swap upfront. then spacers in the rear to match. i would stay with a 305 tire as the 315 is a little wide and heavy to turn with out gear options.

How do you feel about trim the front fenders?

as in the outside of the fender body wise or hacking up the inside a bit. either way things need to be done to get results I want right? It looks like the 305/70-17 will be the way I will be going. On a truck w/ a short bed a 33.8" tire will make it sit just right. just wondering if they will fit

Well put. I will stick w/ the 305's. They are pretty much 33's+. Those with a few inches of lift will give me the look I want. At some point when a regearing option is avalible I can always change from there. So I thank you on the heads up

Your truck is just the right hight w/ just enought beef on the tire to give it the llok I want. Actually when I googled frontiers lifted on 33's I'am pretty sure your truck showed up and sold me on it. So my hats off to you and I just need your assistance in getting there if you would be so kind. Thank you and love the truck. Sorry mine will look like yours. I'll switch alot so there will be no mistake..you got me there. You the man ..:fantastic:

Now Opinions>>>Sorry..Calmini but swap out the UCA w/ titans and a nice set of coilovers for the 5" lift or the PRG ADVANCED that gives 3" of lift but set up w/ quality items..Again not really an off road vehicle and 33's top. Is the calmini kit that bad. Why are people so against it. Just want this lift to be done once and right that all.

also heres a thread with the difference between prg 3"+2" body lift and a calmini lifted truck theres a link to it in that thread but i figured i would throw it out there again incase you didnt see it :)
http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f26/calmini-prg-bl-debate-51415/
but if its not an off road truck get whatever you want i would go calmini to avoid the body lift if its mostly street fabtech also has a 6" right

So if I wont be off roading you personally feel the 5" calmini is the way to go.
Will this be able to accomadate 33's ? If u know by any chance. Thank you for your advice and thread.

theres alot of people that do offroad that have the calmini and like it but yeah i would say go calmini and avoid the body lift if your on the street most of the time and vodkatrix(the blue nismo in the link i posted) is running 295's which i think are 34's and he had to trim a little fender but i think 33's will clear fine might have to melt a little fender plastic no biggie im running 285's with 5" in the front and i dont rub after i melted the fender also if you go calmini and decide you want a little more you can always do a body lift later for a couple more inches

I was going w/ 285/75-17 which are 33.8". So thank you I love the look of those fiberwerx front fenders so i might switch to those since I am sure they will avoid the rub and look hot. If the Calmini runs fine for road use and decent ride that just might be the way. I thank you for your help. Now w/ the Cal I can just add titan UCA And LCA as well as whatever else I choose to make the ride as nice as possible. Thanks again EVERYONE who chimed in you, Mike, and 8o8NISMO...:fantastic:
