I cannot seem to figure out what the problem is here. 2000 frontier 4cyl 5 speed. Whenever and wherever I'm driving the truck it just feels slow. If I step on the gas in third or any gear it just makes a bogging out sound and slowly gains rpm. And while accelerating I can feel the truck hesitating like I'm feathering the pedal. Which I'm not. Just seems like when I want to get after it the truck will rev out but just feels like the thing isn't going anywhere. Have changed fuel filter. Plugs. Wires. Air filter. I'm new and don't know what to do. Any help much appreciated.

A few things come to mind - sounds like low fuel pressure but you need more testing info.

1. Check for codes to further diagnose/treat issue(Local AutoZone can run if no code reader)
2. Problem with the (MAF) mass air flow sensor(or is dirty)
3. Problem with the Throttle body/dirty
4. Problem with the Fuel pressure regulator
3. Problem with O2 sensor
4. Problem with Fuel sending unit
5. Problem with Fuel injectors bad/dirty

Might as well switch out your distributor cap & rotor for good measure. Changing your PCV valve is also a good idea, though I doubt it would be a solitary cause of your issue.

I would check ignition timing, fuel pressure and exhaust back pressure if there are no trouble codes stored. If you are going to change the cap & rotor, stick with genuine Nissan.
