So, I just got some AWESOME new wheels and tires on my truck!

The problem is how much more sloppy the steering is now.

I kinda thought it would be a little more, but this doesn't seem right.

I've read that these trucks are pretty well known to have a tendency for this.

Should I just get this https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/complete-steering-system-p-5256.html and call it a done?

Anyone else have this kit? Like it?

From all my roaming and reading, it appears that this is the only system still being produced. I know there is another one but its hard to find and is only used. You may be able to find a better deal thou if you browse the classifieds on here and other frontier/nissan sites.

You buy that kit and your steering issues will indeed be a done deal for as long as your own the truck. You get what you pay for and that's a nice chunk of change.

BTW Calmini makes one too, but it doesn't look near as good as the Total Chaos kit.

I thought that the idler arm is often to blame for sloppy steering. Maybe you just need new idler arm bushings.
