This is driving me batty, been happening since the day I got it home. Starting out on level ground after it goes forward I feel this subtle "thump" in the rear. I cant make it happen every time, perhaps 25% it happens.
I notice it when the wife drives also. When I search the issue I see anti lock brakes testing, hill start, and drive train "lash" listed as the cause. I read it could be the utilitrac covers sliding to the rear but it still happens after removing them.
It is slight but truly evident, wife thinks I am over thinking it but my old hardbody king cab had tranny issues so I am sensitized to the sound and feel of this little "clunk"...
If you gentlemen have any ideas let me know, I fear if I take it in they wont be able to replicate the issue.
Thanks for your time,
Russ
