Anyone find that their side view mirrors are too loose? When I go through the car wash the mirrors get folded in or out from the brushes. My Dakota mirrors never did that in the 5 years I owned it. I'm assuming there is a way to tighten them up a little but I haven't looked real close. There seems to be some type of heavy duty sticker covering some bolts or screws on the bottom.

They won't move without an outside force to move them. The pressure from the brushes was enough to fold them in. Next time fold them first. I wouldn't attempt to tighten anything. If you feel there is a problem ask the dealer and if they agree you'll get new ones.

I know the purpose of it, but I just think that fold a little too easy. My Dakota mirrors folded in as well so they wouldn't break if you hit something, but they were a little tighter. They wouldn't fold in at the car wash. The brushes don't seem to be applying that much pressure. I just think the mirrors fold in too easily. It should take a little more force for that to happen. I don't like the mirrors folded in before entering the wash. Soap gets into the cracks and don't get rinsed out.

Maybe I'm alone on this one.

Go to a Nissan dealers lot and fold the mirrors on multiple trucks to compare.
