Is it possible to get an 06 to flash the code number like some older cars did? Ive got an SES and I want to make sure it wasnt the gas cap beofre I take it in and pay real $$

Did you refuel recently? Do you make sure the cap clicks multiple times? Remove and reinstall the cap and drive for a few days. That's what the dealer always tell everyone.

If you take it by AutoZone they will read the code for you for free.

Figured out how to read it my self. It a code P0455 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Control System, Gross Leak....what?

Usually it's a loose gas cap. Remove reinstall with multiple clicks and drive for a few days.

There was a recall for the ECM about the Evaporative Emissions. Check with your dealership to see if there's a recall for yours.
