I once again find myself saying this, "If this is old news to everyone I apologize". After searching here and only finding what seems to be part of the factory service manuals poked around the old internet and found this place.http://www.nicoclub.com/ You can download manuals in pdf format for just about, or could be, any Nissan that you may have. FREE! I like free! Free is good! These should help answer some of the questions about those odd and not so odd problems and "how to's" that we all have. Of course I'm one of those people that wants all the info I can get. Also I did not have to sign up for the club in order to get them. Happy wrench turning!::smile::

I know the feeling. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to information. When I finally sold my
1983 KC last Summer which I owned since new what went along with that was a hard
copy of the FSM, each page inserted into a sheet protector. Printed out every page
from the Nissan parts microfiche for my model. Several visits to the library and I
scoured the Hollander Interchange Manual, cross referencing which models share
the same part for my truck and PDF them all with OCR.

In the end, all this time invested goes towards saving me a few dollars and from
having to bring the car into the dealer. Information on the Web also tends to dead
end or disappear sometimes. I PDF all the good threads related to my Frontier
and compile them for reference while the photos are still alive. Photos posted
by people frequently expire from Photobucket, et al.

p.s. check your local library for free access to online repair info such as Chilton,
Motor, AllData, etc. Hell, if I could afford a Consult 3, that would be in the toolbox
as well. :)
