Title pretty much covers it. I'm selling my tailgate. I'm looking to have a "tiregate" like product fabricated. It's got some scratches and small dings, plus I worked a little "frontier medicine" on the tailgate lock, but other that that it's all in working order. I replaced the bolts that hold on the rear gate trim and panel with some stainless steel ones (would include the bit for removing them). I'll try to get some pictures up tonight but it might not happen till this weekend. I'd really rather not part this out if possible.

Considering how damn heavy these things are I'll suggest local pickup but if you're willing to pay the shipping costs, that works too.

I've only seen a few tailgates listed on craigslist and they went for $300-$400. I'm gonna go with $250.

Um, since I'm guessing they would be removed with whatever I end up getting or getting fabricated, sure. I'm not gonna remove them just yet, want to make sure they are needed for any reason. But as soon as I get the tiregate fabbed up, they're yours.

Like I said I had to work on the tailgate lock, hence the small hole next to it:

Like I've mentioned before, I was having issues with the tailgate lock not staying in place. So I did a quick/cheap fix: NOTE: I am not selling the tailgate lock itself. Just an FYI.

I do have the cap for the tailgate and will 3M it back on before selling/shipping:

Lastly, like I said earlier, I did replace the screws on the bed-facing side. I'll be including those and the bit for taking them out:

Well, that's what I'm selling.

Just FYI... I had an F150 tailgate shipped via Greyhound bus a few years back. From Florida (IIRC) to Oklahoma for $50 - $60 or so, nothing terrible. Seller wrapped it with thick brown paper, similar to grocery store bag material. Arrived without a dent.

Thanks for the FYI. The only thing I'm wary about is that the Frontier tailgate is a heavy s.o.b. I will definitely check out Greyhound. Didn't even know Greyhound did that.
