Seat cushion Height

So I have looked a little bit on here but was going to ask this again to see if there is anymore input.
Do the manual adjustable seats on a Desert Runner adjust the seat cushion any lower than the standard non-adjustable seats like an SV has?
The reason I ask is because I think I have found a very good deal on a used Desert Runner. I have read about modifying the frame on here.
