This can be done at home if you have a wet/dry vac.
I will take a spray bottle of simple green and water and a bottle of club soda.
Pour a bit of soda, let sit.
Spray a bit of the Green, rub lightly, Vacuum with high powered vac.
Re-apply soda or clean water, vacuum..
folex is local at home depot or lowes and works pretty well. Also Zep High traffic carpet cleaner is bomb as well.... is use it in my detailing business when I do hot water extraction on floor mats and carpet and seats.
also if you have a wet/dry vac it's good to soak the area then vacuum as it will help pull out embedded stains that are in the foam.
the most important thing is proper drying... our fabric has a tendency to leave water marks if not properly dried, but an easy fix is to lightly mist the area with carpet cleaner and then buff dry with a rag
I use a Bissell carpet machine with the upholster attachment. I just very hot water from the tap. I was told by a pro a long time ago that the more chemicals you use the quicker it gets dirty again from the soap residue. I haven’t had to use it in my Frontier yet but my S-10 is looking good.
