Kumho Roadventure MT's in 285/65/16

Love them offroad, except I can't seem to get them balanced. When they are done, I'll be going with something different.

any rubbing with the kumhos?
no rubbing at all. I added them after the coil spacers and body lift. Mud flaps have been off for 80k miles. Ripped a few of them in half on some rocks not long after I bought the truck, so I took them off and trashed them.

It looks exactly like the pics above except now I have BFG AT's, and a Heftyfab winch bumper up front with a Smittybilt XRC8 winch. The stock springs front and rear are sagging pretty bad though, so it's time to upgrade. I didn't see any mpg change with the body lift. I think I lost 1-2 mpg average from the tires.

Now i have full NX Rocks skids and the winch/bumper and 155k miles....mile average mpg is in the 15 range now. New I was averaging 18-19.

Crappy cell phone pics

Ah, it's looking really good man. Ive been contemplating adding a body lift and bigger tires. Your truck was perfect (to me) before the winch and such. Still looks good no matter what. Just scared of tanking my MPGs a lot. I don't even get why most get on here seems like lol... And I'm a modest driver, I rarely if her romp it.

Nice setup! Truck looks great!
How many miles have you put on with the 3" lift?
Any issues with the angles of the axles?
Im thinking about doing a similiar setup!
I had around 60k miles on it when I lifted it. I'm at 167k now and no issues with the axles. The front springs are sagging pretty bad now, especially with the miles, full skid plates and winch/bumper. The rear springs have been sagging for a long time and are almost concave now. I'd say I'm a safe 1-2" lower than I would be with new springs front/rear.

Next on the list is shocks/springs all around. Probably adjustable bilsteins and HD coils up front and 2-3" lift bilsteins and either PRG 10 pack or deavers in the rear. Not sure yet.

I like the height and what these 4x4's should look like!

As for your MPG, did you factor in the change in tire OD with your calcs? Meaning, your speedo and odo will show lower than actually travelled, unless you were able to change that somehow? We're probably only talking 3-4% difference though, but that could be ~1/4-1/2 mpg difference I suppose.

mpg is calculated using GPS corrected miles traveled

How do you like the new setup?
Im assuming going that rough you have less lift but more articulation?
Any current pics of the setup?

Before I made these changes I went from 38" from ground to front fender lip to 39 1/2". So I gained 1.5" in lift, but keep in mind I went from worn out sagging springs with a winch and heavy bumper to these shocks/springs. So I don't think I would have gained anything if the stock parts were "fresh".
