Not a lot of base model Frontys being upgraded, so I'm striking out on finding any info on this. I'm wanting run some fog lights as DRLs on my 2013 Frontier (no stalk needed) but I cannot find any info on if the S model with the charcoal gray bumper is pre-wired for fog lights. Also, I'm finding a few fog lights for painted bumpers (I'm assuming it's for SV model) Are these compatible with the charcoal gray bumper? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 2016 base frontier. My wife bought me factory fog lights for Christmas. They came with the stalk and lights. The stalk was easy to swap. 5 minutes tops. The lights took about 30 minutes to install. I think she got the oem kit from eBay.

I put stock fogs on the 2013 S model I had, so yes it is wired, but I think the stock ones will not turn on unless the headlights are on unless you do some modification to either the switch or wiring, I forget which.
Here are some ways to bypass since you want them as DRLs

The reason I said mods is he want to use as daytime running lights. If you have to have the headlights on to turn them on, then they are not daytime running lights.

They may come on with just the side marker and tail lights, but I know the switch has to not be in the off position for the fogs to turn on.
