Hey guys (and girls), I'm Craig. I have a 2014 night armor Pro-4x CC. This is my second Frontier, I had a 2011 Pro-4x as well, which I had nicely set up with a Shrockworks bumper, Warn M8000, Radflo CO's, Total Chaos UCA's, OME Dakar leafs, Bully dog tuner, K&N FIPK, Optima Yellow top...etc. (can you tell I regret selling that truck?).

I recently moved to Colorado from Virginia for work, and am in the process of getting my new(er) truck setup to explore the back-country and take me to some amazing places in Colorado. It will be more of an "expo" type build, not a rock crawler. This truck is my DD for now, and I want to preserve some road manners.

So far for the truck I have:
ARE camper shell with Yakima tracks and cross bars
Shrockworks steel front bumper (ordered)
Hefty-fab rock sliders (ordered)
Hefty-fab full aluminum skids (ordered)

I am currently overseas, and am working on getting a stock pile of parts for me to install when I get home!

I am on the fence with suspension... I know the OME kit with SPC UCA's and 1" spacer is probably what I should get, but I'm lusting after some Radflo's or Kings.

I look forward to talking, with you all, and getting this truck set up right!

cool, i'm new to the 4x4 truck game, never heard of hefty-fab until now, eventually i'd like to get some bumpers to intimidate and protect me against any BMW driving yuppies that might get in my way.

is there a list somewhere of makers of cool parts for the Frontier?

Welcome to the forum, Eric. Forget Radflos - way too inconsistent in the wet weather. Look at the King or even Fox coils with a spacer.
I''ve been doing a TON of research on suspension, and this is the one area that I cannot make up my mind on. I'll be getting the OME full pack for the rear, but I change my mind on the front end by the minute.

I had Radflo 2.0's on my 2011 when I lived in NC, didn't have any issues.

I want durable, long lasting, with a little bit of increased travel at a price that won't kill me. I called Nisstec last night, and they told me that even with the SPC control arms and 1" spacer, the OME front kit will not gain me any travel.

I like the idea of the King's. but good god they are expensive, and I'm not a pre-runner... this is a daily driver that will be a weekend warrior to take me into the Colorado back country.

I have a couple of months to decide, so I'm sure I'll go back and forth at least a million more times.

Kinda curious now.... IS THERE ANY BAD THINGS ABOUT OME FRONT SUSPENSION?!?! im planning on getting the whole front and rear kit from OME. Not looking for anything EXTREME but definitely want something nice, im not going to do anything too crazy.... so far I haven't had my Frontier NOT overcome any obstacles.... I guess maybe I should just keep it stock then lmao

I wouldn't say "bad", it just depends on what you're looking for. OME kits aren't adjustable (how often will you really adjust your C/O's?), they aren't re-buildable either. On the other hand they are slightly less expensive, and have a proven track record for being reliable and solid. The Also don't come in an extended length version to gain travel. I think most people over estimate how hard they will really be wheeling their trucks, and often times could get away with a simple "kit" like OME, vs. a high end coilover. Just my 2 cents.
