The stock antenna seems to catch something all the time. Saw Navara's on the internet with the center roof antenna and really like that, but can't find anything for sale. I will be mounting the roof rack in the couple weeks so figured I could do both at once. Anyone have any ideas where to find the parts?

A stubby antenna will probably work if I can't find anything.

If you have a Sat. antenna the hole is almost a direct fit.

you can start your search for Fuba antenna and go from there for variations on design. This has always been on my to do list for years.

Yup, I believe all overseas models have locking gas caps. One more thing they eliminated on the US models.

They also get the pathy switch plates that we in the US/Canada consider a "mod" lol.

Found one in the parts for sale. Happened to be very good timing.

Say I buy one for the ///M3, how would I connect it to the radio? It probably have a different connection wouldn't it? Worst case scenario is that I mount it for looks, but keep the original and just buy a stubby antenna.

this has bothered me from the moment i realized the truck had an external antenna. - especially on the p4x where it's constantly getting whipped around by tree branches and such. to me the roof location is not much of an improvement and would also hinder roof rack use. running the antenna along the rack itself i thought might be interesting, but i did not check into possible reception issues.
