Ok so I really like the look of the rear tube bumpers. However I don't like the big gap that's left behind it. Has anyone installed a roll pan, then notched it for the tube bumper brackets? I haven't crawled under mine to look but is there any reason this wouldn't work?

I am just trying to replace my factory rusting chrome step bumper on my 98 kc.

i've seen a few toyota guys do it an it looks really clean. grant kustoms makes a very nice weld in roll pan

Well the suzuki equator quad concept truck had a roll pan and a tube bumper that dipped under it and then back up. Like in this pic below.

Oh yah, and then I ended up with that bumper for $60! Here it is on my truck with no roll pan.
