Does anybody pay extra for this when you order tires. Is it worth getting? I know its great when you actually need to use it and get a free replacement tire, but how often might this happen. I'm just trying to save a little extra cash. I found the Revo 2 in a P285/70/17 for $170. Seems like a good price!

Can't say I do a whole lot of trail riding. About 80% pavement and I only commute about 8 miles a day to work.

I purchase it for all of my tires and yes I pay the same price you pay for it. I have had to use it twice in the last 3 years due to some construction work near my office.

When buying a warranty you want to make sure you check to see if it is a prorated warranty or a non prorated warranty, which BTW the prorated road hazard warranty is FREE when you purchase your tires in-store at Discount Tire or America's tire locations. :) A lot of companies only sell a prorated warranty and if you damage a tire that can not be repaired you end up paying a prorated price for the new tire. We sell our Certificates for FREE replacement that are a non prorated warranty. If you damage a tire while driving and it can not be fixed and it still has at least 3/32nds of tread left on it, we will replace it for you for FREE. One unrepairable tire and this warranty pays for itself.

I would deff get it, I have it on my titan just in case. I work as a tire and lube guy at sears and have had a few cars come in bc they get sidewall puncture and they didnt buy the road hazard.1 had bought the tires 1 week prior and the other 1 had a month on the tires. So they ended up having to buy a new tire and road hazard on all the tires.

Hazard option it is then! Thanks for the comments ya'll. Thats some good marketing there DTD. I had a feeling you would come through w/ something. Why don't you supply the Revos through Discount tire? I would totally give you a call.

We don't normally mail order the Revo but we can certainly try to order you a set. PM us exactly what you are looking for and we'll look into it for you. :)
