Ride

Hey Everyone,

I got a question. I want to know what your ride is like in your nismo frontiers?

My wife finds the suspension a little harsh sometimes. Is that because of the suspension? I am running stock size tires and am pretty sure it has the bilstein suspension.

Any input would be great. Also I am thinking of getting spacers for a slight lift, any suggestions on a good manufacture.

Thanks... i think
Test drive an LE or SE to compare. Yes, it's a truck but the Bilsteins do add to the firmer ride.

Thanks, thats what I was looking for.
Probably as much to do with tires as shocks.
The ride quality is due to the bills and the fact that it is a truck. If it is the OEM rugged trails (they suck), then the tires are probably not the cause since they have pretty weak side walls (they get destroyed while offroading).

Should soften up a little bit more if you just bought it, but the bilsteins are definitly stiffer than the stock nissan suspension, not much you can do about that really without switching out some parts

As for a good leveling kit check out the readylift kit, it has everything you'll need and the price is decent, but it definitly won't change the feel of your ride at all
