Does anybody know of a way to reprogram the auto headlights on the 2006 Frontier's so they don't stay on for 45 seconds after you exit the vehicle and lock the doors? I think 15 seconds or less would be plenty.

sorry i cant hellp, but why would you want to go thru all the work for just 30 seconds? i doubt its something easy to do, it might be, but i doubt it.

And I wish it were possible to adjust the sensitivity of the auto headlights... they don't come on quite soon enough i.e. at dusk.

I know it came with the LE.

yeah, it's part of the day time running lights/auto lights feature included with the 2006 Crew Cab LE.

EXACTLY!!! Mine fit those rules. It didn't warp the forum by making people scroll to the right, and it was under those pixel dimensions.

But if their mojo is hurt, I was in the process of changing it already. Everyone happy now? :twisted: :wink:

bland forums? hardly. most of the other forums i visit are sport bike and racing forums. i just don't need to see a picture of your truck that's half the size of my screen when i really only care about the text in the posts. :wink:

You can have your dealer adjust the time setting for your auto lights with Consult 2

As mentioned it can be adjusted w/ Consult II. It has the following settings:
1. Normal (default)
2. Desensitized
3. Sensitive
4. Insensitive
(These sound more like people settings)

The delay has settings of:
off, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 seconds.
No 15 seconds time delay.
