Look on Nisstec they have all sorts of different options for the leaf packs that are good at different price ranges. I'm getting myself a set of Alcans but they are pricey (want them for 4" of lift without using blocks). There's also OME and Dakar if I'm not mistaken.

I put a pair of Alcan's on mine this past summer. They are great quality and custom made for each application; Bob will ask you all sorts of questions about how they will be used when you order. Mine came through with nine leaves; pretty serious looking in comparison to Nissan springs. They aren't inexpensive but, I think it is definitely a case of you get what you pay for.

Thanks. Ideally I'm looking for something that gives a 2" lift with maybe a little extra capacity for hauling and towing
The medium duty OME Dakar packs sound like exactly what you are looking for.
1.75"-2.5 in of lift with 150lbs added payload for about $450ish.

Thanks, I'll be calling NissTec tomorrow
I have a set of MD OME Dakar leafs. With ~250lbs in the bed I sit at 2" over stock. Be sure to ask them for the forum discount. You will be very happy with them. They are a bit 'softer' than stock. before the OME leafs on gentle corners and soemtimes on straights, expansion joints on bridges would cause the truck to skip to the side. Now it takes it in stride. If you have a bit of weight in the bed you won't even notice minor bumps like that.

Hijacking this thread-
I've been looking at doing a small AAL but on my 9 year old truck I'm now thinking just to replace the whole leaf pack with the 1.5" lift. My question regarding these Dakar leaf packs from Nisstec is is it worth the extra $80 to get those HD leafs? I don't do a whole lot of hauling and pretty much no offroading. I probably don't NEED the HD but why not?

The HD leaf packs are meant to do a good job with a constant load in your truck. I just went through this decision process a few months ago and it seems like the HD leafs are pretty stiff if you don't have a constant load in the truck. I ended up getting the deaver 2 leaf AAL and it has netted me right around 2" of lift in the back now after about 3 months of settling. Real happy with the ride.

So point being, if I was going to replace my whole pack, I would get the MD since I don't always have a load in the back.

Forum discount on the OME packs through NissTec? That's good to know. I tossed the the 2 leaf AAL and it's a band-aid fix for now. I tow an enclosed trailer and have a hard topper on the bed so I'd like to stiffen it up a bit in the future.
