Service book says to replace engine drive belts at 30k and 60k. Well, I am at 50k and havent done it yet. What belts are they referring too? Timing belt? Does anyone know of a DIY thread to do this? Is it hard?

Thanks.

What year is your truck? 05+ doesn't have a timing belt and you wouldn't be replacing one at 30k anyways. They just mean your belts going to your AC/powersteering/alternator.

I was thinking the same thing since service is recommended on same belts at 120k service

just rubber getting old I guess since radiator hoses and cap are also recommended

There is only one drive/serpentine belt from what I can see. I am about to put a K&N air intake/filterbox on my 2008 CrewCab v6 4.0 rig. The belt should be much more accessible when I take the stock one off. Is there another belt I'm missing?

At one time I read that Gates (belt and hose company) said 5 years or 60,000 miles on their products.
