I understand how to take off the rear Nissan burger emblem above the tailgate handle but I am not clear on what the result will be. Does it leave two exposed holes? Or is it just sticky tape or both?
Anybody replace it with anything else? Just wondering as I'm thinking about an undercover tonneau and it covers the topmost part of the emblem.

It will leave 2 holes. I took it off to plastidip the plastic (big mistake). It will look pretty crappy unless you somehow fill it.

Haha, IDT electrical tape would be a good idea. I would say get some putty or something, fill the holes in and then sand. The problem would be having it be water proof tho.

use a plastic bumper repair kit to fill the holes.

I tried to ditch mine and fill the holes, I put it back on because it looked like crap.

Does it use clips like the front emblem or is it dbl sided tape? I wanna take mine off to paint it.
